The Louvre

The Louvre

Marie Leszcynska as Junon by Guillaume Coustou: Sketchbook, Blue Pencil

This last June, I traveled to Paris to study. I began at the Louvre then the Musee d'Orsay. I absolutely love Paris, the people, the city, the galleries. This is a sketch I did at the Louvre. . I saw my first Bouguereau at the Orsay, unbelievable! I really need to spend about one life time there!

I don't know for your whole trip in Paris. But I can say that the day we met at the Louvre in front of this statue was GREAT!
Thanks again for this excellent day.
By the way, your Marie Leszcynska as Junon by Guillaume Coustou looks far better than mine!

I ran into you just before you went on your Paris trip and I am curios to know Michelangelo Buonarroti flash in the pan or does he have some staying power?

Flash in the pan most definitely! LOL! I couldn't resist! The art scene in Paris is overwhelming, I find myself thinking of it often.
